Chess is a royal game that teaches patience and the ability to think independently. It stimulates creativity and is done in the spirit of fair-play. Moreover, the therapeutic qualities of chess have a great positive impact on the development and education of young people.

Since its inception Synerise has focused on market education and social initiatives. Our curriculum is an expression of corporate social responsibility, concern for the quality of our economy, as well as the labor market that is so important to us. We want to activate both teachers of disciplines such as mathematics, physics and computer science, as well as the youngest students. We believe that among the Polish teaching staff there are plenty of outstanding personalities who love what they do, have a mission, and a desire to develop in new disciplines – says Jarosław Królewski, CEO of Synerise.

This year's edition was also be attended by children coming from Ukraine. Chess is a game that brings people together and whose motto is "Gens una Sumus" - We are all one family.

The competition was open to kindergarten, elementary, and high school students. Children represented those institutions in Katowice where they study. The players played divided into twenty competition groups, separately boys and girls.

The tournament has been held in Katowice since 2016. This year, the event was held for the seventh time, and after two years of pandemic-related restrictions, small chess players were again able to sit at the chessboard in the Spodek. 1112 players joined the competition in the legendary hall, where the World Volleyball Championships had just ended, on Tuesday, September 20.
